The price is therefore high. Plastic is a high polymer compound made up of resin, stabilizers, lubricants, and other materials, and the price is therefore low. Appearances are different:  Highly transparent acrylic products are more transparent than glass. Due to their stable quality and resistance to sunlight, outdoor lamps and lanterns are especially suited to plastic. Plastic is not an adequate substitute, as it has a dark, heavy color that makes it unsuitable for lamps and lanterns, particularly outdoor ones. After six months, there will be a tendency for cracks and yellowing in them. Gloss and smoothness are different:  Acrylic products offer excellent gloss and smoothness, whereas plastic ones do not. The intensity is different:  Acrylic has high strength, is not easy to deform, and does not crack or break easily. However, the plastic is relatively weak and easy to bend, making it unsuitable for high-intensity applications.
