TIPS TO FULLY TASTE IT Terre di Puglia Taralli are made according to the traditional Apulian recipe and with 100% Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Apulia.The traditional recipe calls for three simple ingredients: flour, extra virgin olive oil and white wine. Many producers decide to add flavourings or selected spices for an even tastier and more refined product. Taralli with Cacio e Pepe and Taralli with Fennel Seeds are the perfect example.  Their unique and typical crunchiness is given by the traditional Apulian cooking method which involves two steps. First, they are boiled in boiling water and oil until they rise to the surface and then they are baked in the oven for about half an hour. TARALLI WITH EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL The classic Apulian Taralli are prepared exclusively according to the traditional recipe, for those who wish to savour all their original and typical flavour. Bite after bite, you can taste the genuine ingredients and notes of extra virgin olive oil that characterise them. Excellent to enjoy by themselves as a mid-day snack. TARALLI WITH CACIO AND PEPPER In this version, the classic Taralli with extra virgin olive oil are enriched with cacio cheese and pepper for a more intense, savoury and strong taste. They are the perfect choice to serve with a selection of delicately flavoured cured meats, such as Pork Meta Bresaola or Campagnolo Salami, or to pair with vegetable creams such as Artichoke Cream or chickpea hummus. TARALLI WITH FENNEL SEEDS Taralli with fennel seeds are characterised by a fragrant, fresh and delicate flavour, in perfect balance with the notes released by the extra virgin olive oil. You can enjoy them as a snack paired with a few slices of salami, such as Felino Salami IGP or Milano Salami. Otherwise, they are the ideal pairing for cured meats with a stronger flavour, such as Spicy Spianata or Seasoned Speck, for an optimal contrast of flavours.
