997.1 Turbo Performance Cams What are they? Protomotive Performance Cams for Porsche 997.1 Turbo are made to improve the performance of your 996 turbo without compromising the idle and drivability. The power and torque bands are broader for more power under the curve. Specifications: 282 intake duration at 0.050″->0.050″ 290 exhaust duration at 0.050″->0.050″ 11.4mm lift intake 11.0 lift lift exhaust How much power can these produce? Typical gains 40-50 hp / 40-50 tq with no compromise in idle quality or drivability with minimal modifications otherwise. Is anything else required to run them? Use our performance valve spring packages for best results Oem springs can be retained by a lower perch mod to keep coil bind in check Works with oem intake and exhaust lifters Works with Oem valve lengths Lash caps are provided with the cams to keep the lifters at a optimal height Where can I learn more about my car?
